Artist: Django Django
Song: “First Light”
Why you want to watch: It’s a strange voyage.
Details: Django Django returns with a new album, Born Under Saturn, on May 5th. Rejoice, music lovers.

Artist: Palma Violets
Song: “Danger in the Club”
Why you want to watch: Um, Palma Violets – and a pop-up harmonica player.
Details: It was filmed in the band’s local pub, The Pineapple, by Roger Sargent, who has taken some pretty damn iconic band photos. “Danger in the Club” is the title track off the band’s second album, set for a May 2015 release. (YESSSSS!!!!)

Artist: Johnny Marr
Song: “Dynamo”
Why you want to watch: “Dynamo” features Marr in a salmon colored top and what, I think, has become one of his things: silver nails. The song is off his second album, Playland – another of my favorite albums of 2014.
Details: Johnny Marr had to cancel several North American tour dates last year, but here’s a bit of what he is like live = awesome!

Artist: The Acid
Song: “Ghost”
Why you want to watch: Cosmic freak outs in the desert.
Details: The video was directed by Eliot Lee Hazel and Petecia Le Fawnhawk, who have worked with artists such as Interpol, Beck and White Lies. The Acid’s debut, Liminal, was one of my favorites of 2014.

Song: “Capitol” – Black Marble Remix
Why You Want to Listen: New York’s Black Marble adds a bit more twinkle to the song, blending in the vocals differently.
Details: “Capitol” is off TR/ST’s latest, Joyland, Robert Alfons’ first TR/ST album without original member, Maya Postepski.
