Details: Sydney, Australia DJ Alison Wonderland’s debut album, Run, just came out this year. It sees her working with the Flaming Lips’ Wayne Coyne on track “U Don’t Know.”

Why you want to watch: There’s some weird stuff going on with a fellow and eyes; and it’s the Vaccines, sounding great and looking dishy in white.
Details: Always a favorite of mine, the Vaccines have a hot new album, English Graffiti, and return to Seattle on August 8th for a date with their fans at Neumos.

Song: “Madman”
Why you want to watch: Manchester, England’s Raw Calibre get locked up and bloodied, piñata style. This is probably NSFW. In the words of the director KC Locke, it’s “Sick in every meaning of the word.”
Details: A cool-sounding grime band whose debut EP, Hierarchy comes out next month.

Artist: July Talk
Song: “Guns & Ammunition”
Why you want to watch: A straightforward piece emphasizing the lead singers in a stark and sexy way.
Details: Canadian band with fascinating vocals by Peter Dreimanis and Leah Fay. Don’t know this group? Familiarize yourselves now – they have a date in Seattle at the Sunset on June 1st.

Why you want to watch: Katy has cartoon friends, and maybe she is a rabbit cartoon too. Maybe?
Details: British artist sings really, really well and writes some damn cool songs. Great pop music lives!

Artist: Martin Gore
Song: “Europa Hymn”
Why you want to watch: This gives a new, literal, meaning to the term musical landscape.
Details: The track comes off Gore’s latest album, MG, which you can get on April 28th. Gore has said he wanted to give the music “an almost sci-fi like quality.” Sounds about right.
