Colvin & Earle, the combination of Shawn Colvin and Steve Earle, performed at the Neptune in August. The wonderful combination came about during a recent tour with Mary Chapin Carpenter. And there’s a debut album, Colvin & Earle, with some songs seeing their beginnings on that actual tour. Stories like that are so cool. Fans, be grateful: the album should be the first of many.
