Say She She performed at Neumos in a show that sold-out months ago. Fronted by Piya Malik, Nya Gazelle Brown and Sabrina Mileo Cunningham, it was the band’s first stop on the North American Silver Tour, in support of their sophomore album Silver, listed on KEXP’s Best Albums of 2023.

Burna Boy, the Nigerian-born singer who’s won a large and wide variety of awards from BET to Billboard to MTV, visited Seattle as part of his I Told Them. . . Tour. The tour, named after his 2023 release (that’s album number 7!), snagged an appearance at Climate Pledge Arena. Burna Boy has several shows coming up, as well as singing on Usher’s new track, “Coming Home.”

Rock band Codeine bathed themselves in beautiful blue light at Seattle’s Barboza in December 2023. The trio surprised fans as recently as 2022, when they released Dessau. The album included songs that didn’t appear on their second album, and next they’ll have appearances in Australia this April. Los Angeles’ Winter, who has a track called “What Kind of Blue Are You?”, opened.
