Details: Let’s mention this first, because it’s super awesome: Grouplove has created their own special jacket. While only the band’s been sporting these beauties, they’re available for pre-order now on their site. They’ve got a scorpion on the back (the jacket, not the band)! No one asked us to mention this, it’s just, damn the jackets are cool. But back to the main point of this post, which would be the photos from Grouplove’s Seattle’s 2016 visit. They’ve even been here twice in 2017, by the way. For the Crocodile show, the audience was able to enjoy for the first time songs from the just-released Big Mess. Seattle-based country artist Miller Campbell held her album release party at the Tractor Tavern. The show was sponsored by local country radio station KMPS (94.1 FM). Her new EP, Sweet Whiskey, sold out that evening, along with the rest of her merch and nearly all the tickets. Evidenced by the photos, Miller and her eight-member band completely filled the stage. We took a few minutes after her set to see the holiday lights in front of the venue.

Why You Want to Listen: In 2015, British singer Ellie Goulding did a version of one of my very favorite Christmas songs, “O Holy Night.” What a sweet and lovely rendition she gave to fans, and it’s now an annual goodie. Goulding must be a Christmas enthusiast, as she also took part in Band Aid 30’s “Do They Know It’s Christmas?”.

Details: Man! I’m not lying, this was the super lineup for the Tacoma Dome appearance of tour I Love the ’90s: Salt-N-Pepa, Coolio, All-4-One, Color Me Badd, Tone Loc, Rob Base and Young MC. The inaugural 2016 tour was in fact so successful, the production followed up in 2017 with I Love the ’90s: The Party Continues. And I already see 2018 dates shaping up. . . but first, check out Young MC representing the Seahawks in a Richard Sherman jersey.

Singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers recently opened for Noah Gundersen at the Neptune Theatre. Accompanied by Harrison Whitford (guitar), she’s touring in support of her just released debut album, Stranger in the Alps. Gundersen joined Bridgers onstage for the last song of her set.
