Mayer Hawthorne, I love your red suit! Hawthorne was an opener for Foster the People last Tuesday, and the Michigan musician put on a groovy, charming and smooth show. I want to see him again. I regret not seeing him the other times he’s been here. His three albums are great stuff, with the third one featuring my favorite Mayer Hawthorne song, “The Walk.”
