This is the best news ever. Sir Paul McCartney returns to Seattle as part of his GOT BACK Tour on May 2nd and 3rd at Climate Pledge Arena. The tour only has 13 US dates and we get two of them! I hope he loves it here. We love him here. Seeing him for his more recent dates here were some of the best experiences of my life. So, believe me, you want to go. Another huge thanks to photographer Alex Crick for covering the announcement this morning.

Danes Volbeat performed a co-headlining show with Ghost in January. The rockers were in Seattle to celebrate, basically, just being awesome. Big thanks to Alex Crick for the amazing photos of these guys, who have sold so many albums and deservedly won so many awards. Los Angeles duo Twin Temple, who are actual practicing Satanists, opened.

Details: Kishi Bashi reissued his first album, 151a, to commemorate its 10th anniversary. Hsiao-Ron Cheng contributed the artwork for the cover of a cute little child and a cute huge tiger. Cheng, who is originally from Taiwan, is a painter, illustrator and digital artist. Happy Year of the Tiger!

Wow, we’ve got some gorgeous photos from Alex Crick of the equally gorgeous Ghost. The Swedish band headlined Seattle’s newly-remodeled and opened Climate Pledge Arena with Volbeat co-headlinging (we’ll have them up in their own post). Known for their powerful shows and super heavy metal sounds, Ghost has release four incredibly well-received albums, with a new album, Impera due in March 2022. Get ready for hot stuff.
