Details: This is Sophie Powers’ debut single with Atlantic Records. Congrats! The cover, with a photo by Anya GTA, looks like Powers is in a very fun game. Except for the nosebleed, of course. I like the bubbles, and Powers’ expression is spot on with the song’s lyrics: Yeah, we don’t care at all/And we feel nothing, even though we feel it all/We stay running off of no sleep/Stay running like a nosebleed.

Pop singer-songwriter MARIS recently performed at a sold-out show at Barboza. She’s been on the road with Anna of the North and this was the last stop of their tour. Originally from Montana, her family drove hundreds of miles from Missoula to see her onstage in Seattle. Backed by Jessica on the keys, the now LA-based powerhouse vocalist clearly has a bright music future ahead of her.
