Scout Gillett performed a solo set at the Vera Project in support of her debut record, no roof no floor – with the standout single, “slow dancin’”.  The Missouri-born, NYC-based singer/songwriter performed her dreamy and moody songs as she played her last show of the tour and as well as 2022.

My Morning Jacket released the deluxe version their album Curcuital just in term for the winter holidays. But before that, the rock band played an outside set at Marymoor Park. One show of My Morning Jacket’s tour, which took them from Mexico to Alabama, it had a setlist including songs such as “Cobra” and “Love Love Love.” Excellent stuff.

New York trio Sunflower Bean were the headliners at the Crocodile on June 9th. The cool band, lead by frontwoman bassist/singer Julia Cumming, released their third album in May. Out on Mom + Pop Music, Headful of Sugar got some producing done by Jacob Portrait (Unkown Mortal Orchestra). It looks the group has a couple dates with Peach Pit in New York, and then perhaps some rest!
