We’re scuttling back to July, when X Ambassadors performed as openers for Jimmy Eat World. The Brooklyn, New York band returns to Seattle to open for Imagine Dragons on February 11th. Get ready by checking out some cool photos by Josh Daniels:
Beats Antique, including the marvelous Zoe Jakes, appeared at Bumbershoot this year! The band’s incorporation of so many kinds of music should appeal to everybody, and they sure seem to tour relentlessly. Enjoy photos shot by Kirk Stauffer of their Bumbershoot performance:
Joe Satriani shared his exquisite guitar work with fans recently at the Paramount. When photographer Geoffrey Gribbin asked if this show would be one Back Beat Seattle would like to feature, the answer was a hell yes. Satriani’s touring his appropriately named album, Unstoppable Momentum, which hit #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hard Rock Album charts. Well done. Satriani brought with him as openers Living Colour, who have an album set for release in 2014.
Brits the Moody Blues played for Seattle fans at the Paramount in October. The group, still one of rock’s most important bands, includes Justin Hayward, Graeme Edge and John Lodge, and it’s got quite the catalog to draw from with sixteen albums! Thank you to photographer Geoffrey Gribbin for these smashing shots.
