Music: Nightmare Fortress (Gold Wolf Galaxy Remix), Borgore & Painted Palms

Seattle’s Nightmare Fortress, a very cool electro goth band, gets a remix by Gold Wolf Galaxy. Gold Wolf Galaxy, also from Seattle, are, by their own description, “doom disco rock.” I applaud each of these groups. Have a listen to Gold Wolf Galaxy’s remix of “The Soft Kill”:

Painted Palms also head to Seattle for a July 1st show at Barboza. On their full-length debut, Forever, you’ll find the song “Spinning Signs.” They’ve maintained a long-distance music relationship, with one of the duo living in San Francisco, and the other in New Orleans. Check them out!

The mighty Canadian synth/electronic/dance/all-around awesome duo Chromeo headlined Showbox at the Market on April 16th, and brought Tokimonsta along for support. Chromeo’s fourth album, White Women, prepares to hit your ears and move your ass on May 12th, while Tokimonsta heads to Paris. Thank you to photographer Alex Crick for some ultra great photos of each band!
