Award-winning saxophonist, vocalist, and composer Grace Kelly took the stage for the second of two nights at Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley. Backing Kelly were Adam Bravo (piano), Cooper Appelt (bass), and Julian Allen (drums).

The show celebrated the pre-release of her latest CD, All That I Need. Kelly played originals from that album, along with some funky disco-inspired jazz standards, a tender acoustic duet with Appelt on Thelonious Monk’s “‘Round Midnight,” a tribute to Maya Angelou called “We Will Rise,” and a Billy Joel Cover of “And So It Goes.”

It was a crowd-pleasing set that highlighted Kelly’s charismatic stage presence and personal style, and included an energetic walkabout through the audience.
