The North Borders U.S. Tour approached its end in Seattle, Washington at the Showbox at the Market. This time around Simon Green – aka Bonobo – was accompanied by a full band. A thumping bass brought the venue’s attention into focus, as the hum of the song “Cirrus” amplified. As the song worked its way into the anxious muscles of each person in the crowd, the musicians who traveled with Bonobo made their way to their instruments on stage. There are many fans that would travel great lengths to see Bonobo as a live DJ, but being able to have the opportunity to experience all of the organic sounds that come out of the drums, bass, clarinet, saxophone, keyboard, and hypnotic vocals of guest singers Szjerdene and Grey Reverend brought all parts of this experience together to form a spectacular auditory experience.
