Meiko and Marie Digby recently played at the Tractor Tavern, for the last stop on their Hapa Tour. Hapa – a person of mixed Asian and/or Pacific Islander heritage – was the perfect name since both Meiko and Marie are part Japanese (one-quarter and one-half respectively). Always adding humor to her set, Meiko has been a longtime favorite. I checked my archives and was not too surprised to see that this was the 15th time I’ve shot her set since 2008. Marie has some catching up to do. This was only the third time, but certainly not the last.
