Maryjo Young delivered a powerful, high-energy performance at Barboza last week, one of 20 stops on her I Hope I Sell Tickets Tour.  Interacting with the thrilled audience throughout – beginning with handing out bananas and frequently holding the mic out for them to sign along – the American Idol finalist was backed by guitar and drums.  Rikki Lumi opened and later came back onstage for a song with Maryjo.
