Paula was surrounded by her friends, her family, and her many fans while she and the rest of the Paula Boggs Band enveloped the Skylark Cafe in West Seattle on Friday night. The soulful sounds of Paula Boggs and her band have matured since the last time that I reviewed them. It was fun witnessing the growth of these talented musicians.
The playful nature of the entire band has been a joy to experience but they all seem to have stepped it up for Friday’s performance. There was a vibe that’s tough to put my finger on but it’s like that special warm comfortable blanket of a cold and rainy night.
I look forward to listening Paula’s new record, Carnival Of Miracles, produced by London Bridge Studios being released this spring.
