Singer-songwriter Suzanne Santo visited Seattle’s Tractor Tavern on February 5th. Half of duo Honeyhoney, Santo is out on her own (with band) celebrating the release of her second solo album, Yard Sale. The model and actress also plays a variety of impressive instruments, including the violin and banjo. Hitting the road again at the end of March, she’ll head home to Ohio for two shows in April.

Why You Want to Watch: Mylar, a quartet from London, filmed the video for “Plastic Champ” in a pub. And they also have artist Qinhui Yu provide adorable animation. The band’s debut EP, Elsewhere, comes out on April 8th.

Singer-songwriter Claire Rosinkranz played a sold-out show at the Vera Project. The California native was very animated onstage and included a large amount of audience interaction during her set. A fan gave Claire a bouquet of flowers and she took several photos with the crowd without missing a beat. The evening started with a meet and greet for a lucky group of fans – and concluded with casual photos outside.

Canadian singer-songwriter Tate McRae recently sang and danced her way into the hearts of her fans in Seattle. The sold-out show at the Showbox at the Market was the second of her 23-city North American headlining tour. Backed by her band and 2 dancers, Tate performed numerous songs off her latest EP, Too Young to Be Sad. In the middle of her show, Tate jumped offstage and autographed several signs that two of her diehard fans were holding.

Sound Off! 2022: Showcase # 2 @ MoPop – 2/26/22

Sound Off! 2022 continued on February 26th with showcase # 2. Photographer Simon Krane captured wonderful shots of all four acts participating at MoPOP: Gavon Leo, Kiddus Fecto, the Sleepy Haunts and Saezo. What a treat that Sound Off! is back. The 3rd, and final, showcase takes place on Saturday, March 5th. Tickets are available here.
