The always energetic Bishop Briggs performed at the Showbox SoDo in support of her recently released EP, When Everything Went Dark. The multi-platinum singer-songwriter was on the coheadlining Don’t Look Down Tour with MisterWives, which she joined shortly after winning The Masked Singer television game show.

Kentucky singer-songwriter Abby Hamilton opened at the Crocodile Café for what turned out to be a scary, but musical evening. Halloween provided the perfect opportunity to showcase Abby’s debut full-length album, #1 Zookeeper (of the San Diego Zoo), via her and the band members’ costumes. (I may be dating myself, but with the mustaches, zoologist Marlin Perkins came to mind.) This was the first stop on the Wrestling With Emotions Tour with Deer Tick.
