Danish singer-songwriter Oh Land (aka Nanna Øland Fabricius) opened last week for Sia at Showbox at the Market in support of her latest album, Oh Land. You can learn more about Nanna in a recent Esquire article, and in Back Beat Seattle’s May interview.

The wonderful comedian and musician Reggie Watts performed last night at Seattle’s Neptune Theater. Watts has such an apt biograpy on his site; he is unpredictable and it works for him perfectly. Photographer Alex Crick was at Watts’ Seattle show and caught some beautiful shots of the artist:

Vans Warped Tour ’11 made its annual trip to Gorge, Washington’s Gorge Ampitheatre with a huge number bands. Against Me!, The Ready Set and Asking Alexandria were just three of those bands, and photographer Graham Lee caught these acts in action (and many more – those photos will be up shortly):

The Vaccines are delicious. The exciting London band opened for Arctic Monkeys at Showbox SoDo recently and completely blew my mind. I’ve been compulsively listening to their debut, What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?, and what an absolute stunner of a CD it is. Seattle gets lucky again because The Vaccines will headline the Crocodile on Thursday, September 8th.
