We’ve got more brilliant work from Heather Fitzpatrick, who covered this year’s Uproar Festival. Las Vegans Escape the Fate and Atlantans Fozzy were just a couple of the bands to hit the Uproar stage:

City Arts Fest 2011 had the sweet double bill of Robyn and YACHT perform at the Moore on October 20th. Sweden’s biggest pop star is Robyn, right? Is there any doubt about this? The Portland duo YACHT has toured relentlessly lately, and are still going at it. Check out the music part of their site, where you can grab some YACHT music – for free. We got photographer Simon Krane in to the Seattle show, and he came back with these beauts:
What a trip down Memory Lane! The Bangles showed the audience at the Showbox at the Market that they still have those catchy hooks and great harmonies. Supporting their latest album, Sweetheart of the Sun, founding members Susanna Hoffs, Debbie Peterson, and Vicki Peterson performed both their hits and new material for a very enthusiastic crowd.
Foreigner, I have taken you for granted for far too long. Your songs have just been there, being wicked. As you played one damn awesome after another at KeyArena you blew my mind: “Urgent,” “Cold as Ice,” “Feels Like the First Time,” “Hot Blooded,””Double Vision,” “Juke Box Hero,” “Waiting for a Girl Like You,” “Head Games,” . . . “I Want to Know What Love Is” and “Dirty White Boy.” Actually I remembered the entire set list off the top of my head. You are amazing.
On October 18th Showbox SoDo had musicians Gavin DeGraw, David Cook and Carolina Liar perform on its stage. DeGraw just released Sweeter, his fourth album, while American Idol-winner Cook released album number three, This Loud Morning, past summer. Los Angeles band – largely by way of Sweden – Carolina Liar opened. Enjoy some lovely photos by photographer Heather Fitzpatrick:
