Local pop/soulful singer-songwriter Tiffany Parker played a well-received set at the Nectar Lounge on Sunday. As evidenced by all the encouraging comments shouted by the audience, Tiffany had a large group of fans, friends and family in attendance. Accompanied by Justin Clark on guitar and keys, Tiffany sang songs off her new album, Music Therapy, as well as several more recent ones. You can also check out Tiffany’s videos here.
Photos: Sad Face @ The Tractor Tavern
I saw Seattle’s Sad Face last month at the Tractor Tavern, and yes, they are stunning. I hadn’t heard of this band – how? why was that? – and was torn to bits by their music. I didn’t know what they would do next. They’ll be at the Comet this Saturday, December 3rd. Do not miss their set. Get there early. Leave work early. Quit whatever you are doing early. I don’t care. Get in trouble.

The event, which musically celebrates the relationship between sister cities Seattle and Reykjavik (plus additional Nordic countries), included performances by Ólöf Arnalds, David Bazan, Sean Nelson, Shelby Earl, Gudrid Hansdóttir and Nive Nielsen. A big thank you to Simon Krane for these photos!
