R&B singer and 9-time Grammy Award-winner, John Legend, wowed the packed house at the Paramount on Monday night. His beautifully soulful voice and colorful stage lighting filled the room with a smooth melody that few could reproduce.

Legend is touring while promoting his new release, Love in the Future, which has received good reviews. John Legend said of the album: “I feel like it’s my best album yet, and I think creatively, we did some great things.” The record was produced in collaboration with Kanye West and John said: “the talent that we have on the album is better than we’ve ever had.”

Photos: New Kids on the Block @ the Tacoma Dome

New Kids on the Block again showed they’ve still got the right stuff when they performed on platform stages – surrounded by laser beams – for fans at the Tacoma Dome this summer – July 9th to be exact. You just have to love these guys (NKOTB if you’re hip to them). How could you not? New Kids on the Block’s album 6, titled 10, is out now. Big thank you to Tino Tran for some NKOTB action:

Ten years is a long time for fans to wait between albums, but Five Iron Frenzy‘s new album, Engine of a Million Plots, becomes available this Tuesday, November 26th! The Denver-based octet reunited a couple years ago, and got some fan help via Kickstarter to make their sixth album happen. On August 10th Five Iron Frenzy stopped by Showbox at the Market, bringing with them MxPx’s Mike Herrera. All photos by Josh Daniels:
