Kate Voegele and the Crocodile Café’s lighting tech both did outstanding jobs during her recent show in Seattle. Kate has been touring in support of her new EP, Wild Card, and it was good to have her back in town – she’s always a “must-see”. Spanish singer-songwriter Leroy Sanchez opened and also joined Kate on stage during her set.

Toronto’s Electric Youth, a duo who plays some sweet synthpop, made an appearance at the Crocodile on November 9, 2014. They’ve also got one of the nicest biographies on Facebook:

Gorgeous. They also worked with Erasure’s Vince Clarke on their debut, Innerworld. Excellent.

On February 24th, 2015 Alex & Sierra Alex & Sierra, winners of The X Factor USA, performed as part of The Good Guys & A Girl Tour. Congratulations on their win and their debut album, It’s About Us. Nashville-based Liz Longley played at the Triple Door last week during her album release tour. Recently signed to prestigious Sugar Hill Records, the Berklee College of Music graduate’s self-titled album is a compilation of remixed material from several previous albums. Anthony D’Amato opened and also joined Liz for her encore. Coincidently, Michaela Anne Neller who toured with Anthony last winter, came on stage to sing several songs with him before her own show at the Musicquarium upstairs.
