Less Than Jake‘s Roger Lima

Okay, Less Than Jake’s most recent show in Seattle was just earlier this month, but we’ve got you covered on their 2017 show here. The always-popular Gainesville, Florida pop/ska band has even more dates coming up, including a spot on the 2018 Vans Warped tour. Less Than Jake’s most recent release is 2017’s Sound the Alarm EP, which included seven previously unreleased songs. Thanks, Less Than Jake!

The Fratellis

Recommended by a friend by my old friend, John Nelson, The Fratellis put on an incredible performance at the Showbox. supported by the very good English duo, Blood Red Shoes. Hailing from Glasgow, Scotland, the Fratellis just released their 5th album, In Your Own Sweet Time. It has been reported that In Your Own Sweet Time is their best album to date. I wouldn’t doubt that, and I will be looking for more from the Fratellis in the near future.

Jacob Banks

Nigerian-English Jacob Banks (that’s Mr. Jacobs, to us), is a soul singer. He came to Seattle to charm, and check him out, he does that easily. A man who said, about himself, in GQ, can be found on a Friday night, “in my house with my two cats, ordering takeaway and battering someone’s son on Fifa online.” That’s very cool and fun, and we also want to find him live. So, here we have him performing in his Seattle ’17 date!
