Details: Canadian singer-songwriter Lev Snowe has an adorable cat photo for the cover of single “Someday Soon.” I can’t blame him. That’s just a perfect cat expression. This track came out a couple of years ago, but I believe Snowe is working on new tracks.

Idles @ Showbox SoDo – November 10, 2021

Second night of Idles‘ two night event in Seattle was held at Showbox SoDo on November 10th. This show was Idles and all Idles – with no opening band for the Brits. More Idles is a good thing. Another cool Idles gig alert: You might be in New York on New Year’s Eve (maybe? maybe?), and you can tickets for their Barclays Center show here (available as of now!). Also, guitarist Mark Bowen’s dress is lovely and one you could wear for different occasions. Very nice.

Idles & Gustaf @ the Showbox – November 9, 2021

British band Idles played the first of two nights in Seattle on November 9th. After a two-year hiatus from visiting the States due to Coronavirus, they titled the tour Beauty from Ashes. Indeed. They’re also celebrating the release of their fourth album, CRAWLER, which came out just a couple days after this show. Brooklyn, New York’s Gustaf opened for this date. If you’re in Seattle you can plan ahead to catch Gustaf again at the Sunset on March 25th. Good news, yes? Photos from night two of Idles’ visit will be up shortly.

In a show that was sold out months ago, Madison Beer brought her Life Support Tour to the Neptune Theater. Accompanied by two dancers and making several costume changes, Beer performed songs from her debut studio album released earlier this year. The audience, especially those close to the stage, were surprised by a confetti shower during the encore.

All good things must come to an end … including The Olivia O’Brien Show tour. O’Brien and her two-member band wrapped up their run at the Showbox at the Market, two days after her 22nd birthday. The singer-songwriter commented that she last performed at the venue as the opener in 2017. Alt-pop artist Upsahl took her turn to open this time.
