Back Beat Seattle | Photos: Tapes ‘n Tapes & The Chain Gang of 1974 @ the Crocodile

I always prefer a really excellent show with only two bands. It’s rare and just fun. On an August evening at the Crocodile this happened, with Tapes ‘n Tapes headlining and The Chain Gang of 1974 opening. This was my first time seeing Tapes ‘n Tapes live and it was a superb choice. They performed my favorite song of theirs at the moment, “Freak Out,” and withstood a sauna-like temperature in the club. Plus I saw The Chain Gang of 1974 for the fourth time since May. Another superb choice.
