Singer Leah Kate headlined at Chop Suey in support of her recently released album, Super Over. The show was the second to the last stop on her tour with the same name. Leah’s set was high energy start to finish with a lot of audience interaction. It was a talent-packed evening with support from AJA, Senses and Ceara Cavalieri.

Swedish bands Ghost and Amon Amarth made an August visit to White River Amphitheatre. The Re-Imperatour, named after the Ghost’s latest album, Impera, hit 27 dates of their North American schedule. There are rumors that Papa Emeritus IV played his final show in October with Ghost, so if you caught the band recently, you’ve caught something extra special. And do you love Viking-influenced metal? English post-punk band Echo & the Bunnymen played The Showbox Market on September 1, 2022. Original members Ian McCullough (vocals) and Will Sergeant (guitars, electronics) led the group in classics that included “The Killing Moon” and “Lips Like Sugar.” Their North American tour celebrated the band’s 40 years together. Santa Monica indie-pop group Cayucas opened.

Indie pop band MisterWives headlined at the Showbox SoDo in support of their recently released fourth studio album, Nosebleeds. Fronted by the energetic lead singer Mandy Lee, members William Hehir (bass), Etienne Bowler (drums), Marc Campbell (guitar), and Mike Murphy (keys/sax) all gave an enthusiastic performance that the audience clearly loved.
