I’m very pleased to post more of photographer Lydia Goolia‘s work. Goolia caught J Mascis at the Tractor and Trentemøller at Neumos this year, but had a bit of a computer disaster – some photos have been salvaged and they are indeed lovely. Really? is the new release from The Hundred Days. Get it. They played Columbia City Theater on Saturday night and I promise to be at their show next time they are in Seattle because these guys sound mighty great. Photographer Heather Fitzpatrick captured some very gorgeous shots of the band for your enjoyment. And say a little prayer they’ll be back in Seattle soon.
Danish singer-songwriter Oh Land (aka Nanna Øland Fabricius) opened last week for Sia at Showbox at the Market in support of her latest album, Oh Land. You can learn more about Nanna in a recent Esquire article, and in Back Beat Seattle’s May interview.
