Details: This picture has some interesting sharp lines along with the cool, curved neckline of Beer’s dress and twists of her hair. I like the clinical looking light, making me think of Beer as a futuristic nurse leaning against a likewise clinical, teal wall.

Singer-songwriter Manisha performed at Barboza last week during an evening of music labeled the “Emotions To Conclusions Project.” Currently attending the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, the music major was back in Seattle for the long holiday weekend. Manisha and her three-member band performed five originals – including her latest single, “Minor Details” – plus an Alanis Morissette cover.

Mudhoney brought their signature grunge sound to a sold-out show at The Crocodile on November 18, 2023. Their performative brought a wave of nostalgia and energy to the iconic Seattle venue. The grunge pioneers commanded the stage with their raw, unfiltered sound, filling the room with infectious energy. Guitarist Steve Turner unleashed distorted riffs, while drummer Dan Peters laid down a relentless beat. Vocalist Mark Arm’s signature vocals, laced with both grit and vulnerability, captivated the crowd.

Be Your Own Pet, the Nashville-based garage rock band, performed at Neumos in Seattle on Friday, November 17, 2023. The show was a celebration of the band’s 20th anniversary, and they played a setlist that spanned their entire career. The band was in top form, and they played with a raw energy that had the crowd dancing all night long. Jemina Pearl, the band’s lead singer hit every note with power and precision. They put on a truly an electrifying live performances , which like their music is always full of energy and fun.
Brooklyn-based Birthday Girl opened the show.
