Montana-based Americana singer-songwriter Madeline Hawthorne performed the the Tractor Tavern.  Flanked by Taylor Sims (guitar) and Ace Engfer (bass), the trio was on tour with the Shook Twins.  Her latest single, “Neon Wasteland” was warmly received by the audience, as well as songs from her Boots album, recorded near Seattle.

Shook Twins, known for their unique blend of folk/pop/indie rock, headlined at the Tractor Tavern in Seattle’s Ballard district.  The Portland-based identical twin sisters, Katelyn and Laurie, played a variety of instruments including their signature golden egg.  Throughout their set, numerous performers joined them onstage for an eclectic show.

The awesome Jenny Lewis was in Seattle for an early December show. Lewis, performed at the Paramount, and included Seattle on leg one of the Joy’All Tour. She has a lot to celebrate with a brand new album (Joy’All) and now, leg two of the Joy’All Tour, kicking off in February 2024. She’s now released five solo albums and, while you check out these photos and since it’s close to Christmas, check out her vocals with Zooey Deschanel on She & Him’s “Winter Wonderland.”
