Road trip! The Colbie Caillat/Christina Perri co-headlining tour didn’t stop in Seattle, so I went north to the Pacific National Exhibition in Vancouver, Canada. It was the last night of their six-week Girls Night Out, Boys Can Come Too tour with 7000 attendees at the sold-out show. Although it rained throughout the outdoor performance, the audience was happy that Colbie brought her California sun.

Dublin, Ireland’s Glen Hansard stopped by the Moore on November 14th. The Academy-award winning singer-songwriter released his second solo album, Didn’t He Ramble, this year. Hansard, who is a founding member of the Frames, recently appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where he performed “Lowly Deserter.” He also holds an event each year to raise money for the homeless in Dublin. You can see a video of this year’s “Christmas Busk” by following this link.

On November 8, 2015 Circa Survive, an alt-rock band from Philadelphia played the Showbox. It’s the 10-year anniversary of their debut, Juturna, and the band couldn’t miss touring in celebration of the album. Since that debut, Circa Survive has released four albums, toured with Minus the Bear and maintained the same lineup! RX Bandits and Citizen opened.

Video: ROMY’s “Wild Heart”

Artist: ROMY
Song/Video: “Wild Heart”
Why You Want to Listen/Watch: Brisbane, Australia’s R&B singer-songwriter ROMY is super. I love her voice. Why wouldn’t you want to watch a video featuring her? And directed by her! She looks fabulous.
Details: “This video is a precursor to a trap infused, r&b/pop crossover jam,” says its promo. ROMY, who has worked with greats such as T-Pain, will release her debut album in 2016. I can’t wait.
