Grace Cummings, a singer-songwriter from Australia, appeared at the Sunset in Ballard on September 29th. Cummings, who is also an actress, released her fourth album – this time on Virgin Music – called Bloodhorse! in August. This finds her on the same label with lovely artists such as Kate Hudson and Pendulum. Cummings was just nominated for an Australian Music Prize for best album of the year. We will be cheering her on. You can listen to and purchase the album on her bandcamp page. And attention fans of opener Evelyn Frances – she returns to Seattle on November 10th.
