Sound Off!, the annual band competition for artists under 21, turned 14 in 2015! Open to musicians from Washington, Idaho, and British Columbia (or, as we know it, the Pacific Northwest), the event began this year with Bleachbear, Champagne Babylon, Nightspace and Super Soaked competing in Semfinals #1. And the winner of this round? Bleachbear, a trio self-proclaimed as “dream-pop grunge.” The wild card spot went to Champagne Babylon. All photos by Simon Krane:
