Casey Spooner, the spooner half of New York’s Fischerspooner, has released a solo album called Adult Contemporary. I need to get my hands on this CD – fortunately this is made all too easy for me as it’s available on Casey Spooner’s site. The songs I heard from Spooner’s opening slot last night for Scissor Sisters sounded just fabulous. “Cinnamon Toast” and “Faye Dunaway” definitely started his set out strong, and it was quite spectacular to see Casey Spooner stand alone on a stage and sing. Dressed in an elegant silver suit (Spooner later tweeted it was designed by Timothy Everest), he was moving and cool. Photos:
