Thursday evening was beautiful, the perfect setting for an outdoor concert at Marymoor Park in Redmond. The opener, Angel Taylor, had a sweet voice and did a really nice bluesy cover of “Hey Soul Sister”. Barenaked Ladies came on at exactly 8 pm to huge cheers from the crowd (it was surprising how many people were at the venue by 7:30, it seems like such an early start time for a Thursday night concert). They started out with a few old favorites then threw in a couple new ones from their recently released All In Good Time. It was a good mixture of young and old fans complete with dancing by all ages.
