The Orwells headlined Neumos in a performance that was unpredictable and great on March 25th. Remember When, the group’s 2012 debut, introduced many people outside Illinois to a quintet of guys ready to create their own spot in rock. Towards the end of their set singer Mario Cuomo decided to scale the balcony, and then jumped quite a height to the floor. Though Cuomo did not return, a fan in the audience helped the band do a version of the Stooges’ “I Wanna Be Your Dog.” Look for album two, Disgraceland, from the Orwells in June.
