We’ve had some excellent Seattle band reunions this summer. Earlier Queensryche played the Moore, and Saturday, July 20th is Candlebox‘s turn. Candlebox, the band who technically reunited approximately eight years ago, will perform their 1993 debut self-titled album in its entirety. The album’s turning 20. Also, that means you’ll hear “You,” (my favorite lyrics are Don’t you push your drugs in my face/ Or I’m gonna put you in your place/Fuck you!) and “Far Behind.” I can focus on the debut and not feel too bad if I don’t mention Candlebox’s other albums, including last year’s, Love Stories & Other Musings, because this show is all about the debut. Maybe there will be other songs (“Bothered”?) on the set list, but you’ll get lots of rock whatever happens.
The Moore’s event page has an online box and more information.
