Photos: Semi Precious Weapons open for the Sounds @ the Showbox
Semi Precious Weapons. A fave and friends of Perez Hilton and Lady Gaga, they hit the stage as the touring opener for The Sounds, Tuesday, October 27th on their second trip to Seattle in the last couple months. They played at the Showbox just last month opening the Perez Hilton Tour. Next up they will be opening the first leg of the upcoming Lady Gaga tour.
Their tag line, belted out by lead singer Justin Tranter as the first words to their sets, is “I can’t pay my rent but I’m fucking gorgeous!” and it adorns their merchandise. That pretty much sums up their utter fabulousness.
Here are some of the images from the other night. It was a grittier darker night at the Showbox, so the photos show a slightly butch version of glam that Justin and company pull off so well -
