Show Review & Photos: Pete International Airport @ the High Dive

Pete International Airport w/ Dirty Sidewalks & Wall of Ears @ the High Dive, 11/2/18 – Show Review & Photos by Lisa Hagen Glynn

Pete International Airport played a moody and rhythmic set at the High Dive on November 2nd. The Portland neo-psychedelic rock group includes founding member Peter Holmström (guitar, bass), also of The Dandy Warhols, along with other well-established musicians Daniel Sparks (modular synth), Jason Russo (bass, guitar), and Tara Autovino (keys, bass). Through dreamy fog and lasers, PIA closed with an impassioned rendition of “Even Happier,” from their 2017 album Safer with the Wolves.

Opening the evening were indie-rockers Dirty Sidewalks and freak-pop trio Wall of Ears, both of Seattle
