The enduring and excellent Slayer return to Seattle for a headlining show this Saturday, March 19th. I mention enduring as Slayer celebrates 25 years as a band. Also, although they lost founding member guitarist, Jeff Hanneman in 2013 (a death that easily could have ended the group), they continued, and released their 12th album, 2015’s Repentless. That album just happens to be their highest charting album to date. And I say excellent because it’s Slayer. Obviously great. Now on Nuclear Blast‘s roster, which includes tour mates Testament and Carcass, let that deep and primal sound continue. This really is a hypnotic band.
