The always very exciting Neon Trees, from Utah, will headline Showbox at the Market tomorrow night. Saturday’s show helps mark the band’s ten year anniversary; their national breakthrough, 2010’s Habits, including the banging “1983” (it’s coming all back to me, 1983), secured them major support slots after that album. One of the support slots I saw them on, I think maybe after their second album, Picture Show, was with Duran Duran. Loved them. Good choice to be with Duran Duran. That’s a high compliment from me, and should be from anyone. Album three, last year’s Pop Psychology, has found them “Sleeping with a Friend” (sorry!!!), and is their first album since singer Tyler Glenn came out, and let himself be the glorious icon he is in full form. We’re constantly happy to feature Neon Trees on here, so go see why tomorrow night.
