The fourth, and final day of Sasquatch! Music Festival brings in additional acts I recommend, including THEESatisfaction, Tame Impala, Hot Chip, MØ, and The Glitch Mob. Have fun on the last day, and remember to eat, drink and be merry!
1:20-2:05 @ the Bigfoot Stage: THEESatisfaction
New York transplants (by way of Seattle), THEESatisfaction is a group I have been into for quite a long time. They’re always doing something new and intriguing with melodies and lyrics. Welcome back to the area!!
7:15-8:15 @ the Sasquatch Stage: Tame Impala
Australia’s Tame Impala (there sure seem to be many Australians on this year’s bill!) get pegged psychedelic, and that’s fine, but they’ve also got a pretty modern dance beat to some of their material. They’ll probably test out some of their new songs off Currents.
8:00-9:00 @ the Bigfoot Stage: MØ
What a charming voice MØ has. The Danish singer recently brought that voice to a wonderful collaboration with Major Lazer & DJ Snake’s big hit “Lean On,” and released her own album last year.
Now there’s a really difficult choice to make: The Glitch Mob and Hot Chip play overlapping sets. I’m betting these two groups have similar fan bases. Whichever band you pick, you’ll see a cool show.
11:30-1:00 @ El Chupacabra: The Glitch Mob
Maybe your choice will come down to whether you want to see a British band or American band. If you fall into the American camp, then the Glitch Mob could be your selection. The electronic group excels at trippy shows with weird visuals.
12:00-1:30 @ the Bigfoot Stage: Hot Chip
The English group Hot Chip, on the other hand, has the appealing vocals of Alexis Taylor and more pep to its songs. New album Why Make Sense? makes album number six for Hot Chip. Their catalog is gaining momentum.
