Bumbershoot had Bootsy Collins on its stage this year! That’s right, Bootsy Collins, bass superstar from Parliament-Funkadelic. Some members of a certain generation in the ’90s might know him best from his appearance on Deee-Lite’s “Groove is in the Heart,” and he’s also had a successful solo career. Two Seattle bands very different from each other, Golden Gardens, Hobosexual also performed during day two of the festival, as did South Africa’s Gregory Alan Isakov.
