Noah Gundersen‘s new self-released EP, Ledges, is out today, and to celebrate he’ll have a release party this Saturday at the Neptune. It’s also the first show of a huge tour which takes him all the way to Toronto, Canada. I got to take photos of his recent in-studio at KEXP, and loved his songs and completely earnest performance. His sound is moving and surprising, and should be gorgeous in one of my favorite Seattle venues. He’ll also have sister Abby Gundersen, who sang and played violin on previous EP, Family and Ledges with him – she’s just marvelous as well. Have a listen on SPIN to Ledges before you go!
Opening for Noah Gundersen is Silver Torches, a new project by the Globes’ former singer Erik Walters. His debut, The Living Fact, released last November, is very welcome, and I am stoked to see him live again!
