Peace @ the Neptune, 10/26
Show Review & Photos by Dagmar
Brits Peace would definitely make it on my list of top albums of the year with their release, In Love. Their songs are slinky pop, and when I saw they were opening for Two Door Cinema Club I had to see them. Their music, blissed out with ’60s and Madchester sounds, dips into impatient rhythms. Naturally I love it, and I liked their moody aggression on stage. I hope they come back to Seattle on their own, as I think this band could crack the States. I mean, listen to “Bloodshake,” and see what I am talking about. And although they didn’t do this one in Seattle, they have a great cover of Disclosure’s “White Noise.”
