Bumbershoot‘s final day of the 2013 festival will entertain with acts such as alt-J and Reggie Watts. The Monday schedule includes some of the harder rock of the festival with Baroness, plus the softer tones of locals Ivan and Alyosha.
Natasha Leggero @ Comedy at the Playhouse
The Men @ Fountain Lawn Stage
Probably a popular show with stoners, New York’s the Men have a place in the sun on Monday afternoon. Their music alternates between loud garage/grunge and roccccck.
alt-J at the Mainstage
If alt-J is one of your main reasons to be at Bumbershoot on Monday, I’d get in line a couple hours before their show. The group is pure magic.
German-born comedian Reggie Watts ended up in Seattle and has made quite the career as a comedian/musician.
Comedy Jam (Preserves) @ Comedy at Vera
This event highlights comedians over the age of 50, featuring Peggy Platt and others. I recommend you check this one out.
Baroness @ Fountain Lawn Stage
Georgia’s Baroness is the festival’s one absolute hard rock band on the bill. Welcome them kindly.
NERDProv @ Theatre Puget Sound Stage
Another opportunity to see local comedians!
Audrey & Nelson: A Puppet Sex Musical @ Theatre Puget Sound Stage
Patton Oswalt & Friends @ Comedy at the Bagley
Ivan & Alyosha at Plaza Stage
One of Seattle’s lovelier sounding bands, Ivan and Alyosha, hits the road for a national tour towards the end of September. I hope Bumbershoot and the tour snags them additional fans.
