Belgian-born artist Trixie Whitley appears this Sunday, December 9th at Barboza. Whitley, whose debut LP, Fourth Corner comes out in the States on January 29th 2013, has a gorgeous and fluid voice. If you have not heard her yet, I urge you to check out the music section of her site, then enjoy her show. $10/8 PM – get there early, shows actually start around 8:15 PM.

Ty Segall always goes over big when he plays Seattle. There’s no reason why he shouldn’t, but, wow Seattle loves this guy, and the San Franciscan Segall should have his band with him, appropriately called Ty Segall Band. We can all hear, I would guess, a large segment of songs off Slaugherhouse, which will whip everyone into a rock frenzy. Because that is what happens when Ty Segall plays. $12/8 PM – and with two excellent Seattle bands, Night Beats and Sandrider.
