Seattle Men’s Chorus begins its festive series of shows at Benaroya Hall this Friday, November 30th. This year’s show, Baby It’s Cold Outside, heats things up with songs in the style of “south of the border, Hawaii, and other tropical locales,” according to the Chorus’ site. This will be an excellent show, and it runs from November 30th through December 22nd. Actress/comedian Ana Gasteyer will open the first show! For more details and to purchase tickets check out this page.
Tomorrow evening, Wednesday November 27th, the Crocodile hosts a holiday show with Shelby Earl, Ivan & Alyosha, Tea Cozies, Kevin Long and others. WINTERSONG is a benefit for Teamup for Nonprofits, an organization that actually helps other nonprofit organizations. Artists will perform winter songs, maybe not Christmas songs necessarily, so if you do not like those, man up and enjoy some good music. $15/8 PM doors. Check out Tea Cozies performing “Christmas Wrapping” on Evening Magazine.
