Show Preview: City Arts Fest w/Reignwolf, Fox and the Law & Fresh Espresso – Day 3, Fri. 10/19

**TICKET ALERT: Music, Arts, and VIP wristbands are now sold out (single tickets to shows and arts events, and Culture Club passes are still on sale.**

Friday night’s schedule of City Arts Fest shows is just packed. Many venues of downtown’s core will have shows by City Arts acts, so if you’re at a show on Friday night chances are you’ll be enjoying a City Arts-sponsored event.

7:30Kevin Long @ Rendezvous

Kevin Long is originally from Spokane, Washington but makes his home in Seattle. Spokane’s loss is our gain. Long is working on his second album, Forgiveness in the City.

8:45Sports @ Showbox SoDo

Sports includes band members from the now-departed White Gold, one of my favorite Seattle bands for quite a long time. I’d recommend for this reason only, but I saw them earlier this year and liked them as well.

8:00Fox and the Law @ Barboza

Fox and the Law have been one of the most featured bands on this site, with a backlog of photos I intend to turn into a mega Fox and the Law post or two. See why I love them so much.

8:45Vox Mod @ FRED

One guy, Scot Porter, is behind Vox Mod – and this all sounds brilliant.

San Francisco’s Howlin Rain returns for another welcome visit to Seattle. This will be a great rock show.

You’ll be able to check out the wonderful Cody Beebe – sorry, I missed the show listing when I first posted this! This is another one that will be a very fun show.

10:45Fresh Espresso @ Neumos

Fresh Espresso is tempting fans with new music. Here’s a free download of “The Mezzanine”. Enjoy, then see the band on Friday night.

10:45Ravenna Woods @ the Crocodile

You can’t go wrong with a band that’s got a xylophone in it. Ravenna Woods has more to offer, of course, but XYLOPHONES!

Lasers. Reignwolf. Anything is good with lasers. But Reignwolf with lasers will be even better and creates LASERWOLF.
