Arts Corps, a Seattle organization that teaches K-12 kids all kinds of art, will be the beneficiary of Thursday’s Little Big Show at the Neptune. The show – with headliners Pickwick and openers Fly Moon Royalty – is presented by KEXP, Seattle Theatre Group and Starbucks. While the evening is now sold out, as always you might get lucky and grab some tix if you turn up at door time, 7 p.m. You never know.
On Friday evening, Omaha’s Cursive headlines at Neumos. According to Neumos’ site, the balcony will be all ages and the main floor 21+. I like this arrangement more than all ages on the floor. I can’t help it. You have not heard the new Cursive album, I Am Gemini yet? Get your ears ready courtesy of Rolling Stone. Virgin Islands and Ume open, so get there early. Doors at 8 p.m., $15.
