Panama Gold debuted its revised and new lineup at the Rendezvous in December 2011. Taking over on drums is Brian Coyne and they’ve added a new guitarist, Robbie Luna – both formerly of The Royal Bear. As sad as I was to see The Royal Bear disband, it’s fantastic to see these two join another band I admire. Vocalist/guitarist Damien Goyenechea is now lead singer, without a guitar. This works. By some lucky chance some cancan dancers happened to turn up at the show. I can’t wait to see these guys play again. When? Next chance for everybody is January 26th in the Crocodile’s back bar.
